How to change the client associated to a business?

WARNING: Once the client is changed, the connection of that account and the business that it was previously connected will be cut off and the previous client will no longer have access to any service related to LikeIT and this business.

Welcome to our guide on how to switch the client account connected to a business. Clients are accounts created for business owners or representatives. They may or may not use the client access to receive information about the agency’s operation.

There are various reasons why you may need to change a client account from one business to another. For example, the owner or administrator may have changed, or there may have been a change in the associated email address. You can and should change accounts in any of these cases.

To change the account, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to your account and navigate to the menu on the left-hand side.

Step 2: Select “My Clients” from the menu.

Step 3: Access the business folder, and within here you will see a list of all your businesses.

Step 4: Select the business that you want to modify.

Step 5: Inside the business information widget, please select the top right corner button  to edit information.

Step 6: This will take you to the business information modification page. On the first section, client information, click on the button labeled “Change client”.

Step 7: Here you will be able to either create a new client from scratch or select a previously created one.

Step 8: Once you have the new correct information click on “Save” to update the information.

It’s important to be aware that when changing the client associated with a business, the previous client will lose access to any service related.
